Our story
A question that came to me on a boat in the Amazon — and never really left.
I'm a designer. I think about beauty — how things look, how they feel, what they say about the person carrying them. And somewhere on that train, a thought came to me that I didn't want to lose. On a boat in the Amazon, the same feeling returned.
I reached for my phone. It felt wrong. Too loud, too permanent, too much. I wanted something smaller. Something that belonged in that moment.
That's when the question arrived: can we carry that beautifully?
The bag you carry. The clothes you wear. The way you put yourself together. But what about your thoughts? What about the ideas that come to you mid-conversation, on a walk, waiting for coffee?
Those thoughts represent you too. Maybe more than anything else.
That moment — the one where something occurs to you and you want to hold it — that's an important moment. It deserves something beautiful to land in.
I didn't want to make something heavy or complicated. Not a big book you have to commit to. Just a small, handmade notebook that lives on your bag — always there, never in the way.
Something you reach for without thinking. Something that feels as considered as everything else you carry.
How it's made
The cover fabric, the paper weight, the charm finish — every material is chosen because it feels right in your hands, not just because it looks good in a photo.
Each signature is folded and stitched by hand using a traditional bookbinding stitch. It takes time. That's the point.
The tweed cover is cut, shaped, and wrapped around the bound pages. The gold button charm and clasp are attached last.
Every notebook is checked, wrapped, and sent with a handwritten note. Because the moment it arrives should feel like a moment too.
